Iran Press/ Middle East: The Zionist Regime attorney general, Avichai Mandelblit, added that he has begun consultations with senior officials of the Israeli judiciary regarding Netanyahu's inability to carry out his duties as Israeli Prime Minister.
Regarding Netanyahu's recent remarks about the political motives of judicial officials, Avichai Mandelblit, described Netanyahu's allegations as false and baseless, with the aim of depriving the law enforcement agency of its legitimacy.
Netanyahu, meanwhile, has called for an independent investigation into the Israeli prosecution, saying senior officials at the Attorney General's Office and police officers have deliberately closed the investigation.
The trial of Benjamin Netanyahu on charges of receiving bribery, treason, and fraud began last May after a delay due to the coronavirus outbreak, and the next hearing is scheduled to begin on December 6 with Netanyahu in court.
The court also announced that the proof phase of Netanyahu's crimes will begin with the presentation of three witnesses a week, meaning three sessions during the week from January 2021.
Last year, an Israeli prosecutor formally charged Netanyahu with corruption, fraud, and breach of public trust. This is the first time a prime minister has been charged with a crime.
Netanyahu's family has also been embroiled in several corruption cases in recent months, and their news has repeatedly made headlines; The cases are known in the media as "Case 1000", "Case 2000", "Case 3000" and "Case 4000".
