Iran Press/ America: The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mohammad Javad Zarif, arrived in Havana, the capital of Cuba, today on Friday to meet with high-ranking Cuban officials.
During Zarif's visit to two Cuban medical and pharmaceutical research centers, the heads and directors of the two centers explained the progress made in the production of various vaccines, especially the Covid-19 vaccine.
The directors of the Cuban Ministry of Health and the Cuba Bio Pharma Center also explained the process of producing different types of vaccines and also reviewed Bio Pharma Cuba's cooperation with the Pasteur Institute of Iran.
During this visit, the Cuban side announced its readiness to cooperate with Iran in specialized fields.
Prior to his visit to Cuba, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran arrived in Caracas on Wednesday, the first destination of his trip to three Latin American countries, Cuba, Bolivia and Venezuela.
