Iran Press/ Iran mews: Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in a twitter message on Thursday reported on his consultations with Malaysian officials.
According to Iran Press, Zarif wrote in his twitter account: "On final leg of [my] Asia visit, I met with Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohammad and the country's Foreign Minister Saifuddin Abdullah in Putrajaya."
"[The meetings]'s focus were on strengthening Islamic unity and expanding economic, social and political cooperation," Zarif added.

Iranian Foreign Minister also met with Iranians residing in Malaysia and talked to them.
Zarif also delivered a speech on future outlook and developments in international relations, characteristics of power and security in the new era and common security in the Muslim world, in the Malaysian Institute for Strategic and International Studies.
In the meeting, Iranian Foreign Minister answered Malaysian scholars' questions about the latest regional and international developments and Islamic Republic of Iran's foreign policy.
The Iranian foreign minister arrived in Malaysia on Wednesday night, after two successful visits to China and Japan, for meeting and conferring with senior officials of Malaysia.
