The Iranian Foreign Minister met with his Malaysian counterpart, talking about the issues of mutual interests and the latest developments.

Iran Press/Asia: During the meeting, held in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday, Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Malaysian counterpart Saifuddin Abdullah discussed banking, trade, and scientific collaborations, the issues of some Iranian nationals living in Malaysia and an upcoming visit to Iran by the Malaysian prime minister Mahathir Mohammad, reported Iran press.

They also talked about the latest regional and international developments, the issues of the Muslim world and the developments related to Iran’s nuclear deal, officially known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

The Iranian foreign minister arrived in Malaysia on Wednesday night, after two successful visits to China and Japan, for meeting and conferring with senior officials of Malaysia.
