Iran Press/Iran News: Abolfazl Amoui on Sunday, describing the meeting of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, said: "Today's meeting of the commission was held by inviting Mohammad Javad Zarif, Iran's Foreign Minister and his deputies presenting the latest news and analysis on the IAEA Board of Governors' resolution and the comprehensive cooperation agreement between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the People's Republic of China."
Spokesman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Iran's Parliament added: "Zarif, referring to the process of drafting a 25-year cooperation agreement with China, said that the Islamic Republic of Iran has strategic relations with China based on common interests and mutual respect."
Addressing the members of the commission, Zarif added: "The process of compiling this document began with the visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to Tehran in 2016, and the two countries decided to design a long-term roadmap for the two countries, and the document is still being negotiated."
