Iran Press/Iran News: The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mohammad Javad Zarif, sent a message to Davit Zalkaliani on Thursday, congratulating him on his reappointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia.
In the message, Zarif expressed hope that in the light of the will of the two countries' leaders and foreign ministries' efforts, Iran-Georgia relations would expand further.
Following the Georgian Dream Party's victory in the 2020 parliamentary elections, Davit Zalkaliani was re-nominated as Georgia's Foreign Minister and received a vote of confidence from members of parliament.
