According to an Iran Press report, following the Trump administrations unilateral decision to withdraw from the Iran nuclear deal, the JCPOA, the Iranian foreign minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, wrote a letter to his counterparts in various countries, urging them to support the full implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan Of Action ( JCPOA ) , and the UN security council resolution 2231.
In his letter Zarif urged foreign ministers to resist America's excessive demands and unlawful behaviour, reminding them of the serious repercussions, particularly with regards to global security, of Trump's decision to walk away from the nuclear deal.
Earlier, Deputy foreign minister, Araghchi, after the meeting of the joint commission in Vienna stated that there was a good deal of political will to keep the JCPOA alive.
The Iranian foreign minister also reminded his counterparts that renegotiation of the JCPOA, or making changes and amendments to the agreement , is simply not possible , and that all remaining sides in the agreement need to implement it in full.
IAEA in its 11th periodical report released once again verified Iran's adherence to the nuclear deal with world powers.
