“On 3rd anniversary of JCPOA, it remains a triumph of multilateral diplomacy despite US actions. While we knew US can't be trusted to keep its word as its allies have now discovered JCPOA proves that toxic unilateralism of Trump Admin means it can’t be relied on to honor any deal,” Zarif wrote in his Twitter account on Saturday.
Zarif also tweeted that the nuclear deal is 'still a triumph of multilateral diplomacy'.
US President Donald Trump announced on May 8 that Washington was walking away from the nuclear agreement.
Trump also said he would reinstate the US nuclear sanctions on Iran and impose “the highest level” of economic bans on the Islamic Republic.
Under the JCPOA, Iran undertook to put limits on its nuclear program in exchange for the removal of nuclear-related sanctions imposed against Tehran.
Earlier Zarif in a message emphasized achievements made in recent JCPOA joint commission ministerial meeting held in Vienna.
“Highlights of JCPOA meeting: 1. All committed to ensure Iran's benefits: US isolated; 2. Moving in right direction on concrete steps for timely implementation of commitments; 3. Iran reasserted its rights to respond to US violations if remedial measures prove insufficient,” he said.
Last week, the head of the Iran-Ukraine parliamentary friendship group, and member of the Iranian parliament , Salman Khodadadi has emphasised that Europe must prove its commitment to the nuclear deal (JCPOA ) by honouring its obligations under the deal.

Also, The former Iranian foreign minister, and head of Iran's Foreign Policy Strategic Council, Kamal Kharrazi has said the political will to safeguard the JCPOA exists in Europe, but what is important is how to translate this political will into practical action to preserve the nuclear deal.

The previous three meetings were held on May 26, June 19, and June 30.
