Tehran (IP) - Iran's Minister of Information and Communications Technology said on the sidelines of today's cabinet meeting on Wednesday morning that good agreements for mobile services in Arbaeen for pilgrims have been reached with Iraq.

Iran PressIran news: Iran's Minister of Information and Communications Technology said: "Based on the agreements made with the Iraqi side, it has been established to provide Iraqi SIM cards at a better price to Arbaeen pilgrims and to reduce the cost of roaming compared to the previous year."

Eisa Zarepour said on the sideline of Today's cabinet meeting: "For Arbaeen occasion, we sent a delegation to Iraq last week, which held various meetings with the Iraqi Minister of Communications and Information Technology and their regulatory bodies, and good agreements have been reached."

He further said: "Based on these agreements, it is established that the Iraqi SIM card will be available to the visitors at a better price, and the cost of roaming will be reduced compared to the previous year, which will probably have its effects in the text messages sent by the operators to the subscribers for the Arbaeen roaming package."

He finally expressed his hope that this year the quality of communication services for Arbaeen Hosseini pilgrims in Iran and within the borders of Iraq will be better than last year.
