Iran Press/ Iran News: On Tuesday, the social network platform closed IRIB's Urdu speaking channel with no prior notice or warning. The subsequent correspondence has so far been fruitless in unblocking the page.
The channel's YouTube account was blocked six months ago.
On the same day, the Facebook page of Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting's (IRIB) Radio Bangla was blocked with 58K followers.
During the past ten years, Facebook has blocked the pages of IRIB World Service's Radio Bangla under whimsical pretexts.
