Yemen (IP) - With the start of the prisoner exchange between Yemen and Saudi Arabia, five planes carrying Yemeni prisoners have landed at Sana'a airport.

Iran PressIran News: The prisoner exchange agreement has been started, with the cooperation of the International Committee of the Red Cross, since last Friday and will continue until the end of Sunday.

The parties in Yemen recently signed a prisoner exchange agreement with Saudis under the supervision of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Switzerland, and according to the agreement, 887 prisoners will be exchanged.

Sultan Al-Samai, a member of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen, told the Iran Press reporter that the release of the prisoners in the last days of the holy month of Ramadan was the grace of God that was given to the prisoners.

The member of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen stated that the release of all Yemeni prisoners is on the council's agenda.

A prisoner also told Iran Press at Sana'a airport: "I was released from the enemy's prison by God's grace, and the resistance and standing of the Yemenis has increased our strength."
