Iran Press/ West Asia: The Spokesman of the Yemeni Army Yahya Saree announced on Wednesday evening the shot-down of a US MQ9 while it was spying over the Yemeni waters.
The Yemeni army said in a statement that the drone was hit with a proportionate weapon.
Re-emphasizing the support of the Palestinian people, the statement said that the hostile movements will not prevent the continuation of Yemen's military operations against the Israeli regime.
During the past few days, the Yemeni army targeted Eilat port in the south of the occupied territories of Palestine with missiles and drones in response to the Israeli regime's crimes in Gaza.
Yahya Saree previously emphasized that as long as the Israeli regime's attacks against the Palestinian people continue, Yemen's attacks on the occupied lands will continue.
