Iran Press/Middle East: The Armed Forces Spokesman, Brigadier-General Yahya Saree, revealed on Wednesday the details of the large military operation, called 'Allah Overpowered Them', saying that all of the recent targets, included in our military operations, were among the announced bank of targets for the Yemeni forces.
"Air Force operations resulted in the enemy economic losses as a result of targeting vital installations related to the oil and gas industry," he added, according to Yemeni al-Masirah Television Network.
"Air Force operations resulted in the enemy's great losses in equipment and lives," said the Armed Forces Spokesman.
Yemen's military official went on to say that the Rocketry Force participated in 'Allah Overpowered Them' operation, using the Nakal, Qasim and Badr ballistic missiles.
"Saudi enemy received severe retaliatory attacks in response to its military escalation in ground and air in al-Jawf battle," he added.
Brigadier-General Saree said that the major operation led to the defeat of the so-called 6th Military Zone of mercenaries, with all its military brigades, killing, injuring and capturing of hundreds of mercenaries.
"The Rocketry Force and the Air Force, participated in the liberation, executed more than 50 operations, some of which targeted the depth of the Saudi enemy in response to its escalation," Saree said.
The Armed Forces Spokesman praised the prominent and honorable role of Al-Jawf tribes in achieving this great achievement, stressing the continuation of work to liberate all of Yemen's lands.
He pointed out that the Yemeni forces are working to normalize the situation in Al-Jawf Governorate and its districts after defeating the aggression forces and their mercenaries.
Earlier on Saturday, A farmer was killed by a Saudi Arabia-led coalition airstrike that hit a farm in Yemen's northeastern province of al-Jawf.
Saudi Arabia and a number of its regional allies launched a devastating campaign against Yemen in March 2015, with the goal of bringing the government of former president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi back to power and crushing Ansarullah.
The US-based Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project (ACLED), a nonprofit conflict-research organization, estimates that the Saudi-led war has claimed the lives of over 60,000 Yemenis since January 2016.
The war has also taken a heavy toll on the country’s infrastructure, destroying hospitals, schools, and factories. The UN says over 24 million Yemenis are in dire need of humanitarian aid, including 10 million suffering from extreme levels of hunger.
