Iran Press/Middle East: A Yemeni military source has announced that the Yemeni Army and Popular Committees have captured several military bases (military outposts) in the Majazeh border region of the southern Saudi province of Asir.
According to alMasirah TV, the Yemeni Army and Popular Committees carried out a large offensive operation in cooperation with the citizens on the sites of the US-Saudi mercenaries in the city of Qaatabah, gaining control of more than 70 percent of the city.
A source in the military media told alMasirah, that the offensive ended with the cleansing of more than 70 percent of the city from the grip of mercenaries.
The source confirmed the destroying and burning of dozens of vehicles and armoured vehicles belonging to Saudi mercenaries, killing and wounding more than 150 mercenaries, including leaders. He pointed out that the Army and the Popular Committees after cleaning the city, Altabab and surrounding mountains, they headed to complete the operation and the clearing of the region.
The source pointed out that the mercenaries tried to stealthily sneak back to regain their positions with a 'surprise attack', but the Yemeni Army and Popular Committees engaged them, capturing a number of vehicles, killing 63 of the mercenaries and taking a number of prisoners. 101/211
