Sana'a (IP) - Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, announced in a televised address on Sunday that their missile units had launched a Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile at the Orot Rabin power station in Hadera, on the Israeli-occupied territories Mediterranean coast.

“The retaliatory strike attained its desired objectives successfully,” Saree declared. He emphasized Yemen’s commitment to supporting Palestinians in Gaza, describing the operation as part of Yemen’s "religious, moral, and humanitarian obligations."

Saree further stated that military actions in solidarity with the Palestinian resistance would persist as long as the ongoing aggression against Gaza continues and the blockade remains in place.

The strike comes amid heightened warnings from Yemeni leaders to Saudi Arabia, following deadly cross-border attacks that killed a Yemeni civilian and an African refugee on Thursday.

Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, a member of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, cautioned Riyadh against escalating tensions. “Our people have the experience and readiness to confront any escalation of tensions that aim to distract people from the issue of Palestine,” he said.
