Iran Press/West Asia: According to Israeli sources, the launch of a missile from Yemen into Israel led to the sounding of alarm sirens in the Lod region, the Ben Gurion Airport area, north and east of Ashdod, Jerusalem.
The Israeli Channel 12 reported that the activities of Ben Gurion Airport have been suspended following the attack.
The Israeli channel added: The Yemeni missile launched caused a fire in the Be'er Ya'qub area south of Tel Aviv, and firefighting teams were dispatched to the area.
The Israeli Relief and Rescue Organization also announced that people fled to shelters out of fear of the missile and a number of them were injured due to the crowding.
Over the past months, the Yemeni army has carried out several successful missile and drone attacks on Israeli positions, especially in Tel Aviv, in support of the resistance of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
Yemeni army forces have pledged to continue attacking Israeli ships or ships bound for the occupied territories in the Red Sea until the Israeli regime stops its attacks on Gaza.
