The President of the Supreme Political Council in Sanaa, Mahdi Al-Mashat, announced on Saturday a three-day national mourning period following the martyrdom of Hezbollah’s Secretary-General, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.

Iran Press/West Asia: Nasrallah was assassinated by the Israeli regime during a bombardment of southern Beirut on Friday, September 27, 2024.

In his statement, Al-Mashat expressed solidarity with the Iranian leadership and the people of Lebanon, honoring the legacy of a leader who dedicated his life to resistance against oppression.

Al-Mashat also directed that flags be lowered in tribute to Nasrallah, emphasizing the profound impact of his leadership on the region's struggle for justice and dignity.

The announcement reflects not only Yemen's support for Hezbollah but also a broader sentiment among resistance movements across the Middle East.
