In addition to showcasing Iranian traditions and celebrating the longest night of the year, the event included a culinary competition featuring 100 Pakistani female chefs competing in three categories: food, dessert, and cake.
Hassan Noorian, the Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Karachi, described Yalda Night as a symbol of unity and an opportunity to strengthen social relationships. He emphasized the shared cultural roots between the people of Iran and Pakistan.
