Former Türkiye 'S MIT head:

Ankara(IP)-The former head of the Turkish National Intelligence Organization said that by World Quds Day, the Muslims of Palestine have gained important power.

Iran PressAsia: Ismail Hakki Pekin, in an exclusive interview with Iran Press in Ankara, stated that World Quds Day was reflected in the world with the announcement of Imam Khomeini (RA) on the last Friday of Ramadan, and stated that strengthening the power of the Palestinians in Quds was an important issue. and it has won the trust of the Palestinian people.

Referring to Iran's role in strengthening the Palestinian resistance, he said that this trend is undeniable, and since 1979-80, Iran has taken considerable measures for the security of that region, both in terms of education and defense.

Hakki Pekin stated that during the era of Yasser Arafat, Palestine was very defenseless and America and Israel took military action many times and added that if now there are active resistance groups in Gaza, and Quds and Hezbollah is present as the strongest resistance group in Lebanon, is due to Iran's irreplaceable support.

Referring to the effective role of Iran's Islamic Revolution in defending the oppressed nations of the region, the former head of the Turkish National Intelligence Organization said that Iran's revolution led to important developments not only in the issue of Palestine but also in the region, including the people's demand for rights.

Pekin emphasized that if it were not for Iran's support, the Palestinian resistance would not have reached this level and Israel would have easily committed genocide or all Palestinians would have been forced to leave their homeland, but Iran's support gave the Palestinians hope.

While thanking the leader and people of Iran for contributing to peace and security in the region and supporting the Palestinian cause, he also said that other countries in the region, including Türkiye, should also be with Iran's regional policies.
