Iran Press/Iran news: "My mission is to go to New York to inform the US citizens of their government's crimes and White House's officials want to prevent it, but they are wrong because the world is not limited to New York and informing the people has many tools," Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said at a news conference Tuesday.
"The mistake of Europeans is that they think they can please the White House by being on the same page with it.
"They forget that they are making the US bold with the appeasement," Zarif added.
He pointed to US' mistake in assassination of Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani. adding: "America's mistake was three-dimensional. First, they violated Iraq's sovereignty and territorial integrity and the treaty under which they were based in Iraq, and the Iraqis are demanding the US withdrawal from their country."
"Second, the US hurt people's feelings in the region. Look at what happened in Iraq, India, Algeria, Iran, and Moscow, they were angry about what the US has done," he said.
"Third, the US has also done something against Iran and has martyred a great Iranian commander which will not go unpunished," Zarif mentioned.
"America's departure from the region is just beginning. We will have a good retaliatory action to the US but the time is up to us", Zarif underscored.
"Iran's decisions have always been wise, but the United States has increased the tensions," Iran's minister said.
"The US regional allies must decide and realize that the US has made the region insecure, because of personal complexities of two people," Zarif concluded.
