Tehran (IP) - Secretary-General of Kurdistan Islamic Union (KIU), met with Secretary-General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought on Tuesday.

Iran PressIran news: In the meeting, Hamid Shahriari called for cooperation between the World Forum and the Kurdistan Islamic Union, noting: "There are very good capacities in the field of religious, cultural and tourism between Iran and Iraqi Kurdistan, which can be used to develop cooperation." 

Criticizing some Muslim countries' moves to normalize their relations with the Israeli regime, Shahriari also added: "Sowing discord among Muslims has always been on the Zionist regime's agenda, and it has spared no time to divide the Islamic world." 

Salahuddin Muhammad Bahauddin also called for cooperation with the Islamic Republic in religion, culture, and media.
