Tehran (IP) - The Iranian President, Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi said that if there was not Iran's non-stop fight against smuggling narcotics, it would spread out across Europe.

Iran PressIran news: Speaking at the meeting of the anti-narcotics headquarters on Saturday, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said that from the beginning of Iran's Islamic revolution victory, the Islamic Republic has been a pioneer in the serious fight against drug trafficking, but other countries have not fulfilled their responsibilities in this regard.

While holding the countries responsible for their inertia in the fight against narcotics, Raisi said that it was necessary to explain to them that if it were not for Iran's relentless anti-narcotics endeavors, drugs would have spread out in the whole of Europe.

"Although all figures indicate the success of progress in the fight against drug trafficking and the use of narcotics, we should never suffice to these successes," he pointed out.
