Iran Press/Iran news: Speaking on Monday at the 2nd session for planning realization of the slogan of 'Surge in Production', Hassan Rouhani said, "With all-out efforts in the field of the surge in production, we will foil the enemies' plots, who have always been trying to imply that the system and the government are incompetent".
Stating that the realization of the slogan of Surge in Production will be a full-fledged symbol of the efficiency of the system, the Rouhani said: "Development, progress, and prosperity of the country through Surge in Production will increase people's hope, trust, and satisfaction".
Rouhani stressed that the realization of the slogan and comprehensive employment requires comprehensive cooperation and public effort, adding, "We must keep in mind that the realization of this slogan is not solely the responsibility of the government and a special body, although managing it is the government's responsibility".
Emphasizing the importance of the role and contribution of the people in the realization of the slogan, Iran's President said: "Serious participation and role of the people and the assistance and cooperation of all branches and institutions in this matter is necessary".
Referring to the importance of the media's role in this regard, Rouhani added: "Executive and media agencies should explain and analyze how people participate in the realization of this slogan by providing effective and efficient solutions, methods and training".

The President further stated, "The government and all ministers and heads of agencies should work with all their might and cooperate with other branches, including the Islamic Consultative Assembly, in passing laws and legal mechanisms that strengthen 'Surge in Production' and eliminate cumbersome laws and obstacles".
Rouhani also emphasized in this meeting, that each organ should determine its strategy in this field and continuously process its reports, information, and activities with appropriate accuracy and publish them.
The President also stressed the need to refrain from publishing ineffective reports and information, saying, "The presentation of reports and information should be such that people have an objective and tangible understanding of the effectiveness of the actions of the agencies".
Rouhani referred to the necessity of designing media appendixes and public opinion by the agencies in order to introduce the achievements and measures for fulfilling the slogan.

"These achievements are not only the manifestation of the actions of the government or a special executive or economic bodies but also the achievement of the nation, the system and the cooperation of the three branches and the armed forces in the most difficult year despite severe and illegal sanctions," the President stressed.
Rouhani referred to the actions of the government in the 11th and 12th terms, and mentioned this period as the period of more opening and progress and said: "Although in the 11th government, sanctions were imposed, with measures such as initial agreement in the first 100 days, sanctions were eased and each month $700 million of Iran's blocked assets unfroze and very important steps were taken that eventually led to a nuclear deal and success in the nuclear field and the lifting of sanctions".

The President added, "In the last three years, the period of resistance and tolerance after the withdrawal of the United States from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), we have faced the inherent policy of the Americans, which is putting their knees on their opposition's throat, which we are witnessing in America today".
Rouhani stressed, "The Americans imposed the most severe sanctions on the Iranian government and people with the "Knee on the Throat" policy, and their goal was to make problems for people with providing the most basic necessities of life, such as energy, water, electricity, gas, food, and medicine with the aim of increasing pressure to lead to the collapse of the country to reach their main goal, which they have been pursuing from the beginning, which is to change the political system in Iran".
The president added, "Today, more than two years after their pressure, the government, with the guidance of the leadership and the support of the people and the unity and cohesion that has emerged in society, has not let the Americans put their knee on our nation's throat and cut their breath".
Rouhani added, "Today, not only do we not have problems in providing basic necessities of life for people, including food, medicine, and essential services, but we have been able to compensate for the negative economic growth despite some of the heaviest and most severe economic sanctions".
Stating that good moves have been made in some areas and that the above-expected measures have been taken, the president said, "Great work has been done in the field of social welfare and helping the underprivileged, and pensioners have been able to receive 9 times their pensions".
Appreciating all the those who have created the grounds for growth and progress in the country through resistance and tolerance over the years, the President praised the promising moves that have recently started in the stock market and added, "These efforts should be planned in a way that is transparent".
