Sana'a(IP) -The head of the negotiating team of the National Salvation Government of Yemen and the spokesman of the Ansarullah Movement, in response to the arrival of the Omani mediation team in Sana'a, said that Ansarullah is looking to revive the negotiations.

Iran PressMiddle East: On Thursday, an Omani delegation arrived in Sana'a to hold talks with Yemen's Ansarullah movement about resuming talks with the resigned Yemeni government.

According to Iran Press News Agency, citing Al-Masirah news channel, Mohammad Abdulsalam, the head of the negotiating team of the National Salvation Government of Yemen and the spokesman of the Ansarullah Movement, said: "During the visit of the Omani delegation, we will hold consultations to revive the negotiation process within the framework of a clear vision that addresses the most urgent humanitarian cases of every Yemeni citizen."

The head of the negotiating team of the National Salvation Government of Yemen added: "The trip of the Omani team to Yemen is done in the framework of Oman's mediation efforts to revive the negotiation process and evaluate this stage."

Saying that Yemen is trying to revive the negotiation process, Abdul Salam stressed: "It is necessary to improve the condition of the airport and ports of origin and remove many restrictions because the blockade is still in place at all levels."

The Yemeni official said: "The position of the four countries, the United States, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, in stone-walling in the humanitarian case, is united and the same, and we hope that these issues will end."

Mohammad Abdus Salam  had said earlier: "Yemeni and Omani delegations entered Sana'a to consult with senior officials, assess the stage and resume the negotiation process, the most important of which is handling humanitarian cases."

Last April, two delegations from Saudi Arabia and Oman started negotiations with the leaders of Ansarullah in Sana'a, which lasted 6 days, and discussed ways to extend the ceasefire and establish peace in Yemen.
