Iran Press/ Iran news: The Chancellor of Sistan and Baluchestan University said that the conference issue is important for Iran due to the country's water situation and droughts.
Abdulreza Samimi said the conference would be held with the participation of the Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology (IROST).
Samimi said: "There are more than 60 presentations at the 3rd International Saltwater Desalination Congress, 12 of which are keynote speakers from various countries, and 33 regular lecturers will present technical achievements at the conference."
The congress aims to attract the attention of the authorities to the water crisis in the southeastern area of Iran to find a solution for that.
The first and second International Saltwater Desalination Congress was held in Tehran, the capital city of Iran.
