Iran Press/ Africa: The Palestinian ambassador, Abdullah M. Abu Shawesh who made the warning in an exclusive interview with Iran Press in Abuja, also repeated the call made by the Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas who during his speech at the United Nations General Assembly said the International Community is responsible to put an end into the American-Israeli genocide against Palestinian people.
"As we have right mentioned, yesterday (the genocide) was against Palestine, not only yesterday, one hundred and seven years ago, the genocide has been on Palestine, today the bombardment is on Beirut in Lebanon.
What I would like to say is that, just a few days ago, the Israeli criminal prime minister mentioned that, they are changing the Middle East. And a few months ago, the Israeli finance minister displayed a map of the biblical Israel which will contain part of Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq.
Yes, this is a war to change the Middle East. This is the war by the United States of America and some other complicit Western countries to change the Middle East and also to build a new economic and political disorder to change the already existing ones," he cautioned.
"This war will deteriorate and will not be limited to only the Palestinian people or the Lebanese people. One of the Israelis, who is very close and adviser to the prime minister, has mentioned that tomorrow it will be Jordan and Egypt."
The Palestinian ambassador noted that though the United States of America will not allow Palestine to go to the Security Council to adapt the resolutions, adapt the Charter 7 of the United Nations Security Council, still there are a lot of tools including the diplomatic, economic and legal tools that the International Community can take to put an end to the Israeli aggression and occupations.
"I would still like to remind you all, what the International Criminal Court prosecutor, Karim Khan mentioned just one month ago, that he was threatened and he has been told that the ICC was established only for the Africans and Russia. That clearly shows that if the world doesn't stand united and be strong to uphold international law, today is Palestine and no one can predict who will be next," said the senior diplomat. 204
