Iran Press/Iran news: Speaking at the Al-Quds International Congress on Monday, Ayatollah Alireza Arafi, said: "Today, after all the defeats that the axis of resistance imposed on the Zionist enemy, we see the beginning of a new American-Zionist conspiracy with a political nature by the title of the Deal of the Century.
"When the Zionists were defeated in the military field they are trying to gain victory in the political field and unfortunately, some of the countries of the axis of abjectness and surrender are trying to overturn the victories of the resistance axis, especially the Palestinian resistance, "the official noted.
The senior cleric stated, "This conspiracy came from the US arrogance and we saw the weak and shameful group of the rulers of some Arab states and international organizations, even the United Nations, which is the witness of the violation of its resolutions, did not react, rather some expressions that did not go beyond surface statements."
This silence is what gave them the courage to the Zionists to continue attacks in the neighboring areas and until now the targets were bombed inside the Syrian territories and today some Arab countries have declared their intentions to build and open Zionist embassies in their territories which reflects the perfect prostration and normalization. But Zionists must know that this situation will not continue and soon will come the day in which nation's Islamic fist sooner or later hit them."
Ayatollah Alireza Arafi noted, "More than seven decades ago when the illegal Zionist regime was founded, great attempts were made to achieve its goals that were represented by aspirations and dreams about a wide Zionist authority extending from the Nile to the Euphrates River."
"But, thanks to God, from the beginning of the occupation, the efforts of the Islamic world began as we witnessed the fatwas of jihad in order to take back the occupied homeland."
"Then this illegal regime expanded its occupation of Islamic lands; attacking Sinai, the West Bank, the Golan, and Sheba’a, until the barbarian invasion that affected Lebanon from its south to the north. And all this crime was happening while the world was watching and did not react which it was clear that it was happening under the dreams of the expansion of the Zionist racist state and with the support of the major powers in the world," Ayatollah Arafi added.
He said: "No diplomat in the world did react when the Zionists burned and demolished homes, killed innocent people, and did not have mercy on children, nor olds, neither females and the human rights organizations were silent. The disaster and the great calamity were when some Arab organizations and states were after normalizing relations with Zionists.
Normalization approach is still continuing today
Ayatollah Arafi went on to say that: This normalization approach is still continuing today, but its features have become different, as we have seen statements by some politicians in Arab countries who say that the Zionists should have their own homeland in our region, some others have invited them to political and economic conferences and today some of these statements have been reflected by some Arab regimes and TV channels by directing drama series about Zionists.
Martyr Soleimani has a greater influence than Haj Qasem
"The US and Zionists considered the axis of resistance, under the command of Lieutenant General Qasem Suleimani, as the strongest charismatic and military character, the threat to the existence of them, therefore they thought that they could weaken or dismantle this axis by assassinating this great commander," Chairman of the Al-Quds International Congress said.
Ayatollah Arafi said: "But now we have started witnessing that the martyr Qasem Soleimani has a greater influence on the spirit of the resistance than Haj Qasem Soleimani and the school of the martyr Qasem Soleimani has become much broader than the Quds force which was led by him in his resistance against the Zionists and the US and their expeditionary tools in the region.
The root of supporting Palestine in the Islamic Revolution
"Since the victory of the Islamic Revolution and the establishment of the Islamic Republic in Iran, a leadership, government, and people calling for the defense of the rights of the Palestinian nation, and this call was derived from the principles, beliefs and Islamic jurisprudence that declares fight and confronting the oppressors", Ayatollah Arafi noted and said: "This is what the Iranian Constitution declared and we stress that these solutions based on reality and guaranteed by logic and teachings of religion and international principles as well as the dignity of free people."
The initiatives of Ayatollah Khamenei for Palestinians' rights
"The first solution which was presented by the Islamic Republic of Iran in a civilized initiative by Ayatollah Khamenei guarantees the rights of all original Palestinian nations of all faiths and sects. This solution that was presented to the United Nations General Assembly is to conduct a free and comprehensive referendum that contains all the original Palestinians to determine their fate. The principles of the right to determine fate declared to it according to the United Nation and we are confident that this solution will lead to the formation of a Palestinian state on all Palestinian lands as well as the prosecution of all Zionist criminals," Chairman of the Al-Quds International Congress said.
Second solution: "It is the method of jihad and resistance based on the principles of reason and human nature and the basis of legitimate defense against the occupier for all Palestinian, Syrian, and Lebanese nations, with the support of all Muslim countries and the Islamic Ummah."
Ayatollah Arafi wen on to say that: "This solution is also guaranteed by all international laws and the United Nations as well as it is natural for the people of every country to resist against those who occupy their land and their sanctities. From this standpoint, all Islamic countries must bear the responsibility to provide all kinds of support to the Palestinians in their struggle against the occupying Zionist enemies."
Al-Quds International Congress kicked off on Monday in Qom city, south to Tehran, and will continue for two days. The Congress, in which cultural, political, and scientific figures from different countries of the world give a speech via video conferencing, is being held on the occasion of the International Quds Day.
