The US fighters bombed an area in the Iraq-Syrian border on Wednesday morning to destroy the positions of the Syrian government's army.

Iran Press/West Asia: The US missiles hit al-Boukamal of Syria near the border of Iraq and led to the death of 3 individuals and injury of 5 others.

The US Central Command (CENTCOM) then claimed that it carried out the air raids on arms deposits and logistical facilities affiliated with Iran.

Also, the US army said that the raids were a retaliatory response to the attack on Al-Shadadi military base occupied by the US forces.

The US military bases in the Kinoko gas field in Deir Ez-Zor and the Al-Shadadi base in al-Hasaka in eastern Syria were hit by rockets.

The US forces invaded Syria in 2011 allegedly to fight the Daesh (ISIS) terrorist group.

Daesh was annihilated by the Resistance Front led by commanders such as Lt. Gen. Qassem Soleimani and Abumahdi al-Muhandis who were martyred in Baghdad Airport on January 3, 2020, by the direct order of then-time US president Donald Trump.

The US former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton admitted in the 2016 presidential election debate with his rival Trump that the very US created Daesh in the region.
