Iran Press/Asia: In a speech to Turkish ambassadors in Ankara, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan talked about foreign policy issues and called the US sanctions against Iran 'ineffective'.
"The sanctions wouldn't help to achieve global peace," added Erdogan.
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu also said on Monday that the US sanctions against Iran are harming the whole Middle East region.
On 8 May 2018, the US president pulled his country out of the JCPOA, which was achieved in Vienna in 2015 after years of negotiations among Iran and the 5+1 group (Russia, China, the US, Britain, France, and Germany), and imposed unilateral sanctions against Iran.
