According to Syrian television, the strike targeted Syrian government forces and caused multiple casualties. The airstrike took place close to the Iraq-Syria border on Sunday.
The attack took place in al-Harra, southeast of the town of al-Bukamal, according to Syria's SANA news agency, citing a military source.
