Wearing shrouds and holding the Iraqi flag, Iraqi protesters condemned the US presence in their country.
According to an Iraqi security source, tight security measures have been adopted as the anti-US march began on Friday morning with security forces cordoning off several streets in central Baghdad closing the district to people and vehicles.
Meanwhile, Jaafar al-Hosseini, a spokesman for the Iraqi Hezbollah Brigades who was among the protestors told journalists that all Iraqis want the American occupiers to leave their country.
He further warned: "If they do not do that, we will have to consider other options".
