Iran Press/ Iran news: Special Assistant to the Parliament Speaker for International Affairs Hossein Amirabdollahian wrote on his twitter account on Friday that the great commander trained many Soleimanis, one of them Abul Mahdi al-Muhandis who was martyred along Lte. General Soleimani.
"The age-old dream of the commander of heart, dear Soleimani, has come true. This great figure in the contemporary World trained many General Soleimanis. No doubt, his illustrious path will be continued with strength. Martyr Muhandis was such trainee," he tweeted.
Amirabdollahian stressed that the US crime will not be left unanswered.
The Commander of Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Qasem Soleimani and the second-in-command of Iraq's Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis were assassinated by the US air raid in Baghdad, Iraq's capital.
Lieutenant General Soleimani was awarded by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei as the first Iranian military official to hold Iran’s highest military order, the Order of Zulfaqar after the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
Lieutenant General Soleimani has been named in the list of top Global Thinkers in the defense and security in Foreign Policy (FP)’s 2019.
