Iran Press/ Iran News: Speaking in the open session of the parliament on Wednesday, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf added: "The history of the US crimes has taught Iranians that the US' arrogant behaviour never changes, and what guarantees Iran's independence and freedom lies in the country's becoming stronger."
"The United States has more complicated and cruel plans to bring independent countries, including Iran to its knees. They started a coup by hiring some people in Iran. Also, in the following years, the US did not give up any efforts to overthrow the Islamic Revolution of Iran."
He added: "The US supported the Baathist enemy with all its might in its war against Iran during the 8-year sacred defence period and prepared an all-out economic war against the property of the Iranian nation. Also, it launched an illegal international campaign to deprive Iran of its inalienable rights."
"The Israeli regime was in the region and equipped Takfiri groups to destroy the security and territorial integrity of countries, such as Iran," he poiunted out.
Ghalibaf added: "Violating all legal and humanitarian rules, the US martyred the former Commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) Lieutenant-Genearl Qassem Soleimani on January 03, 2020."
