The UN General Assembly adopted a resolution against the occupation of the Zionist regime.

Iran PressAmerica: The UN General Assembly on Friday passed a resolution by 156 votes to 7 in favor of a resolution on "the rule of the Palestinians and the Arab inhabitants of the occupied Syrian Golan over their natural resources in the Israeli-occupied territories."

The resolution emphasizes the inalienable right of the Palestinian people as well as the Arab population living in the occupied Syrian Golan to use their natural resources, including land, water and energy, and calls on the Israeli regime as an occupying power to stop exploit resources in the occupied territories illegally.

The resolution also calls on the Zionist regime to fulfill its obligations under international law, including international humanitarian law, and to immediately and completely suspend the policies and actions taken to change the status and nature of the occupied territories.

In another part of the resolution, the Zionist regime is asked to suspend all actions that harm the environment of the occupied territories and threaten the health of the people in that region, including the activities of the Zionist settlers in this regard.

Stopping the destruction of critical infrastructure, including water pipes, sewerage networks and power lines, as well as the confiscation of Palestinian homes, agricultural land and water wells, are other issues demanded of the Zionist regime in this resolution. 219
