Iran Press/ Europe: The British government is set to declare the Russian mercenary group Wagner a "terrorist organization," according to media reports Tuesday.
A draft order will be presented in Parliament which proscribes the private military group as a terrorist group and will allow its assets to be categorized as terrorist property and seized.
UK Home Secretary Suella Braverman said that Wagner was "violent and destructive," according to local media reports.
The country’s Home Secretary, Suella Braverman, will soon make this announcement in accordance with the powers outlined in the UK’s Terrorism Act of 2000. This decision comes after months of concerted efforts by officials to build a solid legal case.
The move would place Wagner within the same legal classification in the UK as groups like Al-Qaeda, ISIS. 219
