Iran Press/Middle East: The UAE Foreign Ministry claimed that following the threats raised in the speech of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hassan Rouhani on the sovereign decision of the UAE government and the threats made by the Iranian Foreign Ministry, the IRGC and other Iranian officials repeatedly, the UAE Deputy Foreign Minister conveyed a message of strong protest to the Iranian charge d'affaires.
The UAE Foreign Ministry added: "Relations between countries, treaties and accords are a matter of sovereignty."
The UAE Foreign Ministry has also said that Iran is responsible for supporting the UAE's diplomatic headquarters and diplomats in Tehran.
