The Israeli military has said two more soldiers have been killed in Gaza.

Iran Press/ West Asia: The Israeli regime announced that two reservists from military force Daniel Yacov Ben Harosh, a resident of an illegal Israeli settlement in the occupied West Bank, and Rotem Yoseff from Oranit, have been killed.

They were killed in fighting on Monday, the statement said. Two other Israelis were injured.

The deaths bring to 131 the number of soldiers killed since Israel began its ground operation in Gaza.

Israel started its military aggression against Gaza on October 7 following an operation by the territory's resistance groups, dubbed Operation al-Aqsa Storm. Some 19,500 people, most of them women and children, have been killed in Israel's strikes so far.

World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said that a UN team that visited Nasser Hospital “found deeply concerning conditions” following an Israeli attack on the medical facility’s pediatric unit, which killed a child who had already been seriously wounded in a separate attack in which she lost her family.

“Nasser’s ability to function has deteriorated drastically since WHO’s last visit on 7 December,” Ghebreyesus said in a social media post.

He said more than 1,000 patients and 4,000 internally displaced people in Gaza continue to seek shelter at the medical facility.

“Health workers told WHO colleagues they fear for their lives and are not sure how long they can remain safely at Nasser,” he added, before urging an “immediate ceasefire” between Israel and Hamas. 219
