Iran Press/Iran news: According to a statement by Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Ground Force of Quds Headquarters in Sistan and Baluchestan, on Thursday morning, an anti-terrorist operation kicked off with the cooperation of the Sistan and Baluchestan department of the Intelligence Ministry.
On Thursday afternoon, IRGC announced that a terrorist group was eliminated at the end of the operation by killing six terrorists and arresting six others.
Three IRGC Forces were martyred in the fighting with terrorists in the city of Rask.
After a terrorist attack in Sistan and Balochistan provinces, the Ground Forces Command of the IRGC Quds Headquarters started a joint anti-terrorist operation with the Intelligence Ministry codenamed " Martyrs of Security, earlier this month.
Martyrs of Security wargame in Sisdtan and Baluchestan started on 26 October and will continue in the upcoming days to eliminate terrorist groups in Sisrtan and Balochistan province.
Yesterday, an IRGC Spokesman said that in the past 48 hours, 4 terrorists had been killed and 12 others arrested.
Rask is located in the mountainous area of Sarbaz County, beside the Sarbaz River in Sistan and Balochistan, and it connects with a road to Chabahar Port.
Rask is also near Iran's border with Pakistan.
