Responding to Iran Press' question on the various kinds of injected vaccines in Iran, Jaffar Hussain Seyed stated that the imported vaccines in Iran, including Sinopharm and AstraZeneca, have got their certificate for emergency use, and two indigenous ones have passed their clinical trials and got the emergency use permission from Iran's Health Ministry.
Referring to the COVID situation in Iran, the WHO representative said the death toll has decreased in some areas in Iran due to the acceleration in the vaccination.
Ahmed Al-Mandhari also stressed that everyone must have access to vaccination equally, including citizens and immigrants.
He also called all international communities to pave the way for all countries to vaccinate their people.
"Although coronavirus has caused challenges for all communities, COVAX has done its best for vaccine distribution," he concluded.
