IP - Hezbollah's Secretary-General said that the results of the US presidential election will have no impact on any possible ceasefire deal to end the war.

Iran Press/West Asia: Hezbollah's Secretary-General, Shaikh Naim Qassam in reaction to the victory of Donald Trump in the US Election 2024, said: "We don’t base our expectations for a halt of the aggression on political developments, Whether Kamala Harris wins or Donald Trump wins, it means nothing to us,” Shaikh Naim Qassam said in a his TV speech.

Donald Trump, the Republican presidential candidate, has defeated his Democratic rival, Kamala Harris, and is projected to have secured at least the 270 Electoral College votes he needs to return to the White House for a second time after his 2017-2021 term.

Trump earlier declared victory over Harris after being projected to win the key battleground states of Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Georgia.
