Isfahan (IP) - The representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran has said that the tourist visa is still not issued by the order of National Force Task for Combating COVID-19 of Iran.

Iran PressIran news: Alireza Salarian, the Head of Office of Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Isfahan, confirmed in the symposium of 'The 100-year-old Iranian Tourism' that the Iranian tourist visa is currently limited according to the directives of the National Task Force for Combating Coronavirus.  

He has stressed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs does not directly decide on the issuance of visas, and now the issuance of visas is restricted due to the order of the National Task Force for Combating Coronavirus, and whenever an order is given for any country, it will act accordingly.

Referring to the types of Iranian visas, which include tourism, medical, business, work, study or student, relatives and family, Salarian added: "Currently, only commercial and medical visas are issued to foreign nationals by the order of the National Task Force for Combating Coronavirus, after further investigation. The number of student visas is also very limited. In fact, there is currently no general rule for issuing a visa; a tourist visa that is not actually issued, and other visas will be issued on a case-by-case basis after further investigation."
