Iran Press/ Iran news: Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami in his second sermon in Imam Khomeini Grand Mosalla on Friday said of Turkey's military strike on northern Syria that this is an aggression against a sovereign state and the position of Iran in this regard is the immediate cessation of attacks and the withdrawal of troops from Syrian territory.
The interim Friday Prayer Leader gave advice to the Turkish government regarding this operation that Saudi Arabia as a US servant heard and fell into the swamp. Saudi Arabia wanted to finish Yemen in a week but then for five years the they are the Yemeni warriors who are in control of the situation, so Turkey must be careful not to fall into this US trap.
"As soon as the US withdraws its forces from northern Syria, Turkey fills the US position, be careful not to make a new swamp for yourself," he addressed the Turkish officials.
Tehran's interim Friday Prayer Leader referred to 4 goals of the enemies to exploit the situation in Iraq and elaborated: "One of the goals was to overshadow Arbaeen Trek so that people are frightened and do not participate in the march. The second target is to make split between the two nations of Iran and Iraq as Leader has noted Iran and Iraq are two nations which their souls are closely interconnected by faith in God and the love of the Ahlul-Bayt. Enemies try to make division, but they fail and their conspiracy will not work. The third is that the enemy was concerned about the Iraqi people being linked to the Ahlul-Bayt, and the fourth is to criticize some Iraqi officials who stood firm against the Zionist regime."
