Iran Press/ Iran News: According to Iran Press News Agency, "Nader Tavakoli" stated: "The third stage of vaccination of special patients, including people with cancer, has started from mid-April, simultaneously with the vaccination of MS patients."
The Vice-Chancellor of Iran University of Medical Sciences stated:" The work process has been notified to all covered hospitals (including state, and private) and patients who have a history of treatment in any of the hospitals covered by Iran University of Medical Sciences can refer to the head nurse of chemotherapy or radiotherapy department.
Tavakoli noted: "The first phase of vaccination of specific patients, including groups: hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, thalassemia, hemophilia, PID, organ transplantation, autism, SMA, MPS, and CF over 18 years has been completed."
The Vice-Chancellor of Iran University of Medical Sciences stated that the second phase of vaccination of special patients, including MS patients, began in late April, adding: "In this phase, with the cooperation of the MS Association, patients under the auspices of Iran University of Medical Sciences were informed, and every day, 300-200 patients were present and vaccinated in the selected medical center by determining the time of referral and sending an SMS.
