Tehran (IP): During the National Task Force for Combating Coronavirus meeting, the Iranian Interior Minister Ahmad vahidi says that there are enough vaccines in the country.

Iran PressIran News: Speaking at the meeting of the National Task Force for Combating Coronavirus, Ahmad Vahidi said: "About 6 million people were active in food guild, of which about 3 million have been vaccinated against coronavirus. Another 3 million must be vaccinated until the end of October, otherwise, they would not be allowed to continue their activities." 

The Iranian Interior Minister warns that if the health protocols are not fully observed, the sixth wave of the Coronavirus is expected to begin.

He called the homemade vaccines safe and effective, adding that there was no shortage of vaccines in the country.

"The Ministry of Health is in full readiness to vaccinate about 3 million people a day, and there are enough vaccines in the country," said Interior Minister.

Vaccination of students is also accelerated for their attendance at school, he said. 

Vahidi expressed hope that through maintaining unity and observing all health protocols, the coronavirus pandemic would be contained in the country and the sixth wave would be prevented. 

The Operational Meeting of the National Task Force for Combating coronavirus was held at Iran's Interior Ministry chaired by the Interior Minister Ahmad Vahidi on Tuesday to discuss the latest status of coronavirus issues.
