The Iranian President stressed that today's economic war must end with the victory of the Iranian nation.

Iran Press/Iran news: Speaking at the 15th edition of Shahid Rajaei Festival on the occasion of commemorating the Government Week, the Iranian President, Hassan Rouhani said that the country's problems have changed and the main challenge now is economic problems.

"The war that has been imposed on us is an economic, psychological and political war to some extent. The Iranian nation should emerge victorious at the end against the invaders, and from the perspective of the Iranian nation's historical background this is a definite victory," he added.

He further highlighted the importance of giving better services to the nation, saying that the people have voted for officials to obtain better services.

He went on to add: "Supervision is not about making hurdles or speeding up; supervision is about giving support and providing help, and oversight agencies' need to help the government."

The president urged officials and ministers to be more present among the people, saying that "If the services of officials are announced to the people, the enemies cannot create doubt in their hearts."

The President reiterated that the more the people know about the government, the stronger the system will be.

"We use all kinds of political, diplomatic and negotiation methods, but the basis of our power is the people, even in the negotiations. With the unity of government and nation, the country will be powerful and succeed in the negotiations," Rouhani stressed.
