Tehran (IP)- The Iranian Vice President and Head of Iran's Department of Environment, stated that the country has adopted strong diplomacy in pursuit of its share of water in the Hirmand River with the Taliban.

Under the 1972 Hirmand-River Water Treaty, Iran is entitled to 820 million cubic meters of water per year, equal to about 26 cubic meters per second, subject to monthly and seasonal fluctuations.
