Tehran (IP) - The Minister of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as the heads of the joint economic commissions of the two countries, followed up the bilateral agreements.

Iran PressIran news: Mehrdad Bazrpash, Minister of Roads and Urban Development and Chairman of the Joint Economic Commission of Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan, in a telephone conversation with Shahin Mustafayev, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, reviewed and followed up the joint projects between the two countries and the issues raised in the previous meeting of this commission. 

According to the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, in this Telephone conversation, Bazrpash, emphasizing the respect for the territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the countries of the region, declared his opposition to foreign interference in the countries of the region and said that the regional problems should be solved by the neighbors and the military presence of foreigners for the region is dangerous.

The Minister of Roads and Urban Development of Iran added: "The Islamic Republic of Iran uses its neighborhood policy to resolve tensions between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Armenia."

In this phone call, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, appreciating the efforts of the Minister of Roads and Urban Development of Iran to develop the relations between the two countries, said: "The relations between Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan have improved after the bilateral meetings, and economic relations have also prospered."
