Tehran (IP)- Tehran and Damascus engaged in talks to enhance their collaboration in the fields of communications and information technology, as well as to establish markets for Iranian technology companies in Syria.

Iran PressIran News:  This discussion took place during a meeting between the Communications and Technology Minister, Eng. Iyad al-Khatib, and his Iranian counterpart, Issa Zarepour, in Tehran on Monday.

Both parties emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation in communications and information technology between the two nations, while also focusing on implementing bilateral agreements signed during Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi's recent visit to Syria.

Furthermore, they deliberated on previous agreements pertaining to the establishment of private Iranian companies specializing in equipment and services related to communications and information technology within Syria.
