Iran Press/ Asia: Abdul Latif Hakimi told the Iran Press correspondent in Kabul that the ruling government in Afghanistan was an official one and continued to work.
Hakimi said that the new government might be formed with a bit of change, noting that it was important that the Afghan people were ruling the country.
He recalled that the previous US-affiliated government left the current problems the country was struggling with in different parts.
The Deputy Defense Minister of Taliban noted that Afghans achieved great success by overcoming the foreign forces and ousting them from Afghanistan.
With the US forces escaping from Afghanistan after 20 years of invasion, the Taliban took power on August 15, 2021.
