A Syrian governmental delegation in the framework of comprehensive development plan for Quneitra province have visited the province.

 IranPress/Middle East: Delegated by Syrian President Bashar Assad, a government delegation led by Prime Minister Imad Khamis visited Quneitra province to outline an economic, human and service development plan in the wake of the great achievements of the Syrian Arab army in the province.

The delegation visited a local hospital to inspect work there, stressing readiness to provide necessary services and additional medical cadres and devices to the hospital.

During a meeting with Hadar town locals at the Martyrs’ Hall in the town, it was announced that a sum of SYP 200 million has been allocated to improve basic services in the town.

The delegation visited Quneitra crossing which has been recently liberated from terrorism, with Premier Khamis saluting the steadfast Syrians in the occupied Golan.

Meeting provincial officials in Quneitra, Khamis emphasized the necessity of providing services to all liberated villages and creating conditions for the return of the displaced.

Meanwhile, in Aug. SANA’s reporter in Quneitra said that the last batch of terrorists left the town of Jubbata al-Khashab and the villages affiliated to it via six buses via Ofania corridor to northern Syria.

Khamis urged businessmen to start investments in the province, expressing readiness to provide loans and facilitations for them.

During the delegation’s visit to a military formation in the province, Khamis affirmed that the Syrian army will always be the invincible shied that protects the homeland.

Speaking to journalists, Khamis said the delegation relayed President al-Assad’s greetings to the province’s locals on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.

The government has allocated SYP 5 billion to rehabilitate damaged infrastructure and state institutions, Khamis announced.

Khamis clarified that the visit provided an opportunity to outline plans for optimal investment in the public and private sectors and rehabilitation of the livestock and agricultural production sectors, indicating that the steps taken by the government to return to the province to its former glamour will be witnessed by citizens in the coming days.
